The Little Mermaid is now out in theaters and Halle Bailey plays the titular character, Ariel. In the movie, Ariel's makeup is understated, but shimmery, with gold eyes, subtle lashes, and defined lips. The look has me super excited for summer; it would be perfect to wear by the beach! Her makeup artist recently revealed every single product she used on set and we're here to break it all down for you.

This post is all about ariel makeup look.

Halle Bailey's makeup artist on the set of The Little Mermaid was Kat Ali. Her Instagram is @katalicreative. Recently, Kat Ali shared an Instagram post detailing every product she used for Halle's makeup look in the movie.

Halle Bailey's Ariel features a golden, shimmery eyeshadow and natural, defined lips. Another hallmark of her look is her fluttery lashes and flawless skin. Check out Kat Ali's post below - she spills every product she used!

I wanted to track down every product she used on Halle, so I have included links below. Keep in mind, she didn't include shade names (for foundation/concealer/etc.) or exact names for every single product (see Kat Ali's Instagram post above) but I listed everything I could find!

Mac Eye Brows Styler in Spiked

I wasn't sure exactly what eyebrow product Kat Ali used, but she mentioned it was Mac's Spiked (which is a shade name), so I'm guessing she used the Brow Styler, although it could have been the brow gel.

Mac Lip Pencil in Cork

Glossier Balm Dotcom

Again, I'm not sure which of the Balm Dotcoms she used on Halle, but I'm assuming it's the original. They're all balms so the shades aren't too different from each other.

Eyes

Tom Ford Beauty Eye Color Quad in Suspicion

Kat Ali also mentions that she used Tom Ford's EmotionProof Eye Colour in the shade Gigolo, which is no longer available to be purchased. It looks like it was a shimmery light gold color.

Body

Glossier Body Hero

Buy on Glossier

There are a few Body Hero products, but I'm assuming they used the body lotion on Halle.

Lash extensions

One really pretty feature of Halle's makeup in the movie is her subtle but flirty eyelashes. It turns out they were eyelash extensions, and her makeup artist listed the lash artists used for each region of filming. If you want to recreate the look, cut a pair of wispy eyelashes in half and place them on the outer corners of your eyes!
