This fall feels very Practical Magic coded - here are some of my favorite outfits from the movie.
I don't really know how Practical Magic has eluded me all these years! I love a good late 90s movie, am obsessed with all things fall, and listen to Stevie Nicks when I'm feeling like putting a hex on someone. It was always sitting on my list of movies to watch - until now!
I'm not going to lie - the movie is kind of weird (in a good way!). I can see how it has become a cult classic over the years. It's about two witchy sisters named Sally and Gillian Owens who try to overcome a love curse set on their family from years prior - and get into a bunch of magical mayhem along the way.
The movie feels like Hocus Pocus' darker and crazier cousin if that makes sense.
You already know my favorite parts of the movie were the set design and the outfits! If I could have both it would be a dream!
I decided to put together some outfit lookalikes from the movie. The best news is you can find all of these on Amazon!
Now that really feels like magic.
Sally and Gilly both have similar yet different styles in the movie. They are both young witches, but Sally wishes to be normal while Gilly embraces her powers a little more. Sally's outfits tend to be a little more relaxed and Gilly's a bit more rebellious. I think you can see this contrast in this outfit combo in particular.

This is one of the most popular dresses from the movie when I was doing my research. The dress from the movie looks like it's made from green crushed velvet, but this Amazon dress gives you the same feel.
For the Practical Magic look, a good mix of textures and cozy neutrals always works perfectly to combine a more eccentric look with a down-to-earth type of style.

It looks like Sandra Bullock is wearing some classic 90s Levi's in this scene. Luckily, you can buy some similar ones from Amazon's Levi's shop.

Gilly's sunglasses in this scene were 90s perfection, I just had to include them. Super affordable options on Amazon to make your outfit feel as though you stepped out of a Cranberries music video.

I absolutely love a 90s-esque patterned midi skirt. This paired with some boots will definitely be a big part of my summer to fall wardrobe.
